In this video series we are going to focus on using Photoshop CS3 to enhance our digital photographs. One of the most powerful features of Photoshop is the ability to take digital images directly from the camera in order to create a virtual photolab environment. Gone are the days of the darkroom, the chemicals and the processing time. We now have the power to re-create powerful digital images right at our fingertips using Photoshop's arsenal of state of the art tools. We will take a look at everything from organizing our photos in Adobe Bridge, image adjustments in camera raw, curves, sharpening, and filter applications to name just a few.

1 - Special Effects Using the Marquee Tool (Running Time - 6:18)
The marquee tool can be used to quickly and easily add some pop to your digital photos. In this video, we will take a look at several techiques and effects we can use to accomplish this.
2 - Color Modifications with Masks and Brushes (Running Time - 5:49)
In this video, you will learn how to quickly and easily modify the color in a defined area of your photo using layer masks, adjustment layers and the brush tool.
3 - Working with Levels (Running Time - 4:06)
Levels adjustments is a powerful tool for enhancing your digital photos when used in conjunction with adjustment layers. In this video, you will learn how to apply this technique like the pros.
4 - Painting Within Layer Masks (Running Time - 6:40)
Painting with layer masks allows us virtually unlimited control within our digital photographs because it is non destructive editing. We can easily fix mistakes and or come back at any time to make further edits. This video will demonstrate just one of the many techiques for creative editing to your photos.
5 - Upsizing Your Digital Photos (Running Time - 6:42)
Here's a little known technique for sizing your photos up dramatically with almost no visible loss of quality. We will also learn how to use our Actions pallet to automate and speed up our workflow.
6 - The Patch Tool (Running Time - 6:47)
With Photoshop CS3's new Patch Tool, we now have another option for repairing skin blemishes in our digital photographs. This tutorial will walk you through the basics for easily acheiving that smoother skin look.
7 - The Extreme 3D Popout Effect (Running Time - 7:59)
In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to literally pop our selected subject out of the photograph into the foreground to give our photo that 3D effect. This particular technique will also give us the opportunity to use Photoshop's CS3's brand new Quick Selection tool.
8 - Color Correction and Depth of Field (Running Time - 6:29)
Here's a quick and easy technique for basic color color correction on the fly and a great way to achieve that "Depth of Field Focus" without the need for a high dollar camera and lens.
9 - Adjustment Layers for Black and White (Running Time - 6:23)
We'll take a look at an alternative technique for creating those high contrast black and white photo conversions. This technique will hone your skills with PS3's adjustment layers.
10 - Highlights, Midtones and Shadows (Running Time - 7:52)
We will take a look at a slightly more advanced technique for dramatically improving your photographs using Highlights, Midtones and Shadows. You will be surprized at the amount of control you will have in regards to cleaning up those slightly washed out looking photos using these three features in conjunction with adjustment layers.
11 - Working With Smart Objects

This tutorial will walk us through the basics of using Smart Objects. We will use this powerful new tool in Photoshop CS3 to create a composite sheet for printing multiple digital photos on a single document.

Here's a great trick for creating a floating border from within your digital photograph. This technique will also be great practice for desaturating, selecting, and linking layers.
